Nonni Homola will become the new name of the personal injury firm founded by long-time Tallahassee attorney Vinse Barrett. Barrett is retiring after decades in the profession. The name combines those of partners Mark Nonni and Jaeson Homola, who have been with the firm since its inception.

The new name was announced this month on social media. The firm has also launched a new personal injury law podcast called “It’s No Accident”, as part of their re-brand efforts. Their messaging includes lines such as “Same Lawyers. New Name.” and “We Don’t Believe in Accidents.” Other community outreach is also being planned.

The firm, formerly known as Barrett, Nonni, Homola & Ferraro, has worked to bring justice to those injured by the negligence of others since 2018. With nearly 100 years of combined experience in handling personal injury and wrongful death cases, partners Vinse Barrett, Mark Nonni, Jaeson Homola, and Chris Ferraro have earned a reputation for being honest, hard-working, and zealous advocates for their clients.

Since the firm’s inception, attorney Vinse Barrett has led the Tallahassee-based group with pride, helping them earn numerous awards and recognition for their advocacy efforts. After 40+ years of practicing law in one of Florida’s most complex legal environments, Vinse is now handing the reigns over to the next generation. As of October 1, the firm’s official name has changed to Nonni Homola – A Barrett Law Group.

“We are honored to carry on the legacy of Vinse and the Barrett name,” said Mark Nonni and Jaeson Homola. “Our team is committed to providing the same quality legal representation that our clients have come to expect. We are excited to introduce our new name and brand with a new approach to communicating across the Tallahassee community.”

During his time, Vinse has been recognized as a top attorney and is rated “AV Preeminent” by Martindale-Hubble. “AV Preeminent” means the “Highest Possible Rating” in both legal ability and ethical standards. The AV rating is the pinnacle of professional excellence earned through a rigorous peer-review rating process that is managed and monitored by the world’s most trusted legal resource, Martindale-Hubble.

“I am so proud of the work that Mark, Jaeson, and Chris have done and know our clients are in great hands,” said Vinse Barrett. “I am confident that they will take the firm to the next level and continue to provide the highest quality legal representation to our clients.”
